What is a PDF to Image Converter?

A PDF to Image converter renders each document page as a picture. It brings the text, photos, and layout together in one image, so you can use a page wherever an image file is needed. Each page becomes a separate file, and multiple files can be collected into a ZIP for a single download.

Why Convert a PDF to Images?

  • Share individual pages: Send a specific page as an image without sharing the whole document.
  • Reuse your content: Add rendered pages to presentations, websites, or image editing projects.
  • Save only what you need: Select pages across several PDFs and download them together.
  • Choose your output: Pick PNG, JPG, or WebP with a resolution suitable for your task.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. Is this PDF to Image converter free?

Yes. The tool is free to use, with no account or watermark.

2. Can I convert multiple PDFs at once?

Yes. Choose or drag in multiple PDFs. Each file can be up to 50 MB, with a combined limit of 100 pages. You can add more PDFs later or remove a document before adding another.

3. How do I download just one page or selected pages?

Use Download page below a preview to save that page as an individual image. Use the checkboxes to select pages, then choose Download selected (ZIP). Download all (ZIP) includes every loaded page, regardless of selection.

4. Which image format should I choose?

PNG preserves rendered details without lossy compression and works well for text and graphics. JPG is useful for smaller files containing photographs. WebP offers adjustable compression in browsers that support WebP export. All images have a white background.

5. What do resolution and quality change?

Resolution controls the number of pixels used to render each PDF page. Choose 72 DPI for smaller images, 144 DPI for everyday use, or 300 DPI for more detail. Very large pages are capped at 6,000 pixels per side and 16 million pixels total to limit memory use. The quality slider controls JPG and WebP compression; it does not apply to PNG.

6. Are my PDFs uploaded or saved?

No. PDFs are processed locally in your browser. Leaving or closing the page clears the loaded documents, previews, and temporary downloads. Files you have already downloaded remain on your device.

7. Can I convert a password-protected PDF?

This tool requires an unlocked PDF. Password-protected or damaged files cannot be converted. Unlock your document before adding it.

8. Does this extract the original images inside a PDF?

The tool converts each complete page, including text, graphics, and photos, into a single image. It does not extract embedded images separately or make text editable.
